On Thursday, June 27th (2019) we mark the 175th year since the Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr. and his loyal brother Hyrum were murdered in the Carthage, Illinois jail. Many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its offshoot denominations are unaware that on June 18, 1844, Joseph Smith gave his last…
Remember to save me a calendar please..so looking forward to this.
Will do!! Thanks Nancy.
You should have received my order last week
Looking forward to receiving it
Kind regards
JT
Yes, we did receive your order. Thank you!! Thought you might like to see the calendar images ahead of time. Tell your sweetheart hello. Miss you both in Nauvoo and hope all is well in Colorado.
I am looking forward to receiving the calendar! Is the picture of Joseph’s & Hyrum’s statues by the temple as dark as it looks on the web site? The similar picture on your Nauvoo Images page is brighter–easier to recognize the individuals.
I want to order 25 Christmas cards of #3, Christmas Wreath,
as soon as we see the images from our photo shoot on October 7th.
Thanks for all you are doing,
Sister Orme
Thanks! We are excited about this year’s calendar too. The statue image on the website banner and the one for the calendar aren’t the same image. They were taken during the same time period as the sun was going down so the calendar image is a little darker since the sun was lower on the horizon. Anyone who has been to Nauvoo readily recognizes those statues, even in silhouette. The point of that photo is the beauty of the sunset, combined with Joseph and Hyrum, to create a somber feeling as they headed for Carthage.
