Summer. Oh how I love summer……warm days and nights, sunshine, green growth from under my feet to over my head interspersed with bright pops of pink, red, yellow, orange, and purple blossoms in all shapes and sizes.

It comes and goes so quickly! But, thanks to modern technology, we can enjoy summer moments captured in little digital bytes during winter’s cold days.

This image was another drive-by-and-back-up-and-stop-to-get-the-picture kind of photo. Too picturesque to pass up……the beautiful, idyllic green fields with golden rolls of hay and brilliant blue sky that surround Nauvoo in summer.

This image will get parked on my desktop about the time we get our first snow. Maybe even before that…..
